2017 All-Star Chef Classic to launch at L.A. Live

The All-Star Chef Classic is an exclusive annual food event. Every year, highly acclaimed chefs create an engaging dining experience for the guests. This event also gathers the biggest culinary names around the world to celebrate the innovative community of great food and cooking. Here’s the scoop:

This year’s All-Star Chef Classic will take place at L.A. Live from March 8-11. The 2017 All-Star Chef Classic Masters Dinner series launch will feature French, Italian, American, Southern, and Asian dishes. All events will start at 7:00pm, and they will take place at L.A. Live’s Event Deck. From multicourse seated dinners to convivial tasting events, the All-Star Chef Classic will be an unforgettable experience for the attendees. The chefs will be cooking at L.A. On March 8, Ludo Lefebvre will be featured in the French Masters Dinner series. Ludo Lefebvre is one of the most influential chefs of today’s food scene. He is the co-owner of Trois Mec in Los Angeles, which has earned 4 stars from Los Angeles Magazine and LA Weekly. Also, LA Weekly named Trois Mec the #1 Best Restaurant in Los Angeles for 2014 and 2015. Lefebvre is also featured on PBS’s season 5 preview video. Lefebvre is the winner of 3 James Beard awards and 9 Emmys. Lefebvre mentions that he feels free to express himself as a chef in Los Angeles. He also mentions that his passion is cooking what people like. In the YouTube video, Lefebvre demonstrates how to cook his favorite dish: escargot.

On March 9, Antonia Lofaso will be featured in the Italian Masters Dinner series. Antonia Lofaso is the co-owner and executive chef at Los Angeles’s Scopa Italian Roots restaurant, which serves old-school Italian food. She is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute. Lofaso appeared on Queen Latifah, and they prepared cheesy, deep-fried treats live. She also emphasized the importance of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Lofaso wrote a cookbook entitled The Busy Mom’s Cookbook: 100 recipes for Quick, Delicious, Home-Cooked Meals.

On March 10, Duff Goldman will be featured in the American Masters Dinner series. An experienced baker, Goldman co-owns the Cake Mix restaurant in Los Angeles. In 2008, Goldman was featured in the Guinness Book of World Records for baking the world’s largest cupcake. Goldman was also featured on Tasty’s YouTube channel. In this video, he demonstrates how to make a mirror cake. It has over 394k YouTube views.

On March 11, Della Gossett will be featured in the East West Masters Dinner series. (Tickets for this event are sold out.) Gossett is a graduate of the University of Illinois. Gossett was also a pastry chef instructor at the French Pastry School from February 2010 to December 2012. Now, Gossett is an executive pastry chef at Spago in Beverly Hills. Wolfgang Puck is the owner of Spago. Gossett was featured on PopSugar Food’s YouTube channel. In the video, Gossett demonstrates how to prepare a popular item in Chinese cuisine: fortune cookies.
