With Badmaash, brothers Nakul and Arjun Mahendro are removing the stigma around Indian food by presenting approachable, modern Indian dishes. Now, they are launching a Badmaash location in Venice! Here’s the scoop:
The Mahendro brothers’ first two Badmaash locations in Downtown L.A. and the Fairfax District built a cult following with their boundary-pushing, modern Indian food. Badmaash became a staple in L.A.’s dining scene, attracting multicultural crowds and acclaim for presenting traditional South Asian flavours in an energetic atmosphere.
Now, brothers Nakul and Arjun Mahendro are bringing Badmaash to Venice! This new space presents their modern refreshing take on dishes with South Asian flavours. The main dining room features a custom painting gifted by rapper Action Bronson. The tables in the outdoor patio are 100% hand-painted by Chef Nakul Mahendro!
“Instead of having 3,000 items on a menu,” joked Nakul. “We picked […] the most popular traditional items – and instead of writing the menu in Hindi, we write it in English.”
